Delete your Rowan data

Rowan deletion happens in the app, on your phone:

If you're a circle owner: open Rowan → Settings → Delete everything. This closes your circle, tells your circle members, and permanently erases your vault, your circle records and your account from our server.

If you're a circle member: open Rowan → Settings → Leave circle (to leave one circle) or Delete my Rowan data (to remove your account entirely). If a release you're part of is already in progress, the parts you've already sent to recipients stay in place until that release finishes or 30 days pass — they belong to the people you sent them to.

We can't look up or delete an account by name, email address or phone number, because we don't collect any of those. A Rowan account is a cryptographic key that lives on your device — the in-app path above is the only way to reach it.
